We promise to love your child unconditionally, to always be honest about their story, and to raise them in a home full of warmth, stability, and support. We promise to always ensure they know they are deeply loved by not just us, but by you and their whole extended family. We promise that they can always feel open to talking with us about anything, and that they will always be safe, comfortable, nurtured, cared for, and an extension of our beating hearts.
We believe kids thrive with knowledge sharing, patience, encouragement, and clear, loving guidance rather than punishment. Education and curiosity matter a lot to us, and we want to raise a child who feels safe enough to be exactly who they are. They will never be put into a box, and they will always be encouraged to explore who they are.
We are very open to an ongoing relationship in whatever way feels right and comfortable for you. That could mean calls, texts, photos, or visits — we’re flexible and want this to be something that works for everyone, especially your child. We want to extend our warmth and love to you.
We will talk openly of your child’s background and your story, from the very start. As long as you are comfortable with it. We plan to make it a normal, positive part of our story from day one, using age-appropriate books and conversations as they grow. Ciara has a wonderful idea of making a bespoke illustration book about the child so they learn their story from the minute they can take it all in!
Thank you for even considering us. We know this is one of the hardest and most loving decisions a person can make, and we don’t take that lightly. Please know we would be endlessly grateful for the chance to love and raise your child. Not only that, but we would be grateful to help guide you through this process with us and make sure you feel loved by us, for as long as you need.

How did we meet? We met while working at the same company near New York City in 2019. What started as friendly online conversations turned into a wonderful first date, from a famous sandwich shop to a road trip listening to our favorite music, all on the first day. We knew that day we’d be together forever! We've been married since March 2025, and together as a couple since 2019 — about seven years now. Why are you hoping to adopt?We always knew we wanted to build our family through adoption, even before we knew about our own fertility challenges. After several years of trying to grow our family, including fertility treatments that didn't lead where we hoped, adoption became the clear and joyful next step for us — the path we’re genuinely excited to be on. It is our calling, and we have felt so much joy and happiness working on our portfolio as part of the journey to meet you! Friends and family describe us as kind, genuine, and big vacationers! We're also planners at heart — we like to talk things through and figure out solutions together. What is important to us?Family, genuine connections, honesty, and showing up for the people we love. We value hard work and kindness in equal measure, and we believe home should always be a soft place to land, and a safe space for all. What do we like to do together?We're big on road trips with music blasting and no fixed plan, stopping at local farms along the way. We love live music; concerts are a regular thing for us, whether it's a big show or a local outdoor festival. We’re also big foodies, traveling far for the best pizza! We travel together every chance we get, both close to home and internationally, including visiting Ciara’s family and friends in Ireland, and we're always up for a theme park trip. At home, we love to cook together, and Matt is famous for the ribs he smokes on his grill on the patio during lazy weekends. What are your plans for daycare or will one of you be a stay-at-home parent?We both work from home with flexible schedules, and we'll have 24 weeks of combined parental leave to soak in that first stretch together. After that, our plan is a part-time nanny a few days a week, with the two of us covering the rest — and Matt's mom is nearby and always eager to help. We also have a huge nearby family via Matt who absolutely cannot wait to welcome your child.

She's the kind of person who takes on a challenge and quietly gets it done, and she brings that same steadiness to everything, including how she'll be as a mom. She's endlessly patient, deeply nurturing, and has the biggest heart for anyone going through a hard time. Her vocation is genuine warmth, and she will be the most wonderful mom, as well as a wonderful support to you as a birth mom for as much as you need.What do Ciara enjoy doing?Ciara loves to read — she's rarely without her Kindle — and enjoys scenic walks and hiking local trails. She's a wonderful party host, and baker, and she loves getting together with her close circle of friends. She also lights up any room with her sense of humor. Ciara loves to travel, both internationally and within the States, to learn about the world. She cannot wait to share these experiences with our future family.What is a fun fact about Ciara?Ciara grew up between the U.S. and Ireland. She speaks the Irish language, Gaeilge, and can teach our child a few words! Ciara is also known for being super quirky and funny. Her oldest friends have so many stories to share about Ciara writing funny poems and creating imaginative games to entertain people.What does Ciara do for work?Ciara is a Senior Director overseeing a large operational team of more than 100 people across three continents. It is work she's passionate about because it's all about helping people do their best and grow into new opportunities. She loves that she mostly works from home but travels about 10% of the year.

What does Matt enjoy doing?Matt loves to cook, play golf, and root for his teams — football, baseball, and pretty much any sport on TV. On weekends you'll often find him out on the patio smoking ribs or brisket for the family. He used to be big into video games too and still enjoys a good one now and then. Where do we live? We live in New Jersey, in a quiet, family-friendly area with highly-ranked schools, parks, farms, and plenty of things to do outdoors. We love that it feels like a true community — friendly neighbors, local farm stands, and lots of green space nearby. What is our house like?We live in a four-bedroom, three-level home including a basement full of fun activities (like a pool table!), a cozy living room, a kitchen, and a deck and patio for entertaining. Our large yard is fenced in and just the right size for backyard games with our future kiddo and for our labradoodle, Dolly, to run around. Do you have a nursery yet?We don't have a nursery decorated yet, but we know exactly which room will become our child's. We can't wait to start decorating it once we're matched. We’d love to know your favorite colors and animals so we can incorporate them into the decorations! Our pet!We have one very good dog — Dolly, a five-year-old labradoodle who is gentle, affectionate, and endlessly patient. She already thinks of herself as a big sister-in-waiting.

Our extended familyWe're very close with both sides of our family. Ciara's parents and younger brother live in Ireland, and Matt's parents and older brother's family live nearby in New Jersey, with his younger brother out in California. Matt’s extended family is huge and all based in New Jersey. We cannot go to a family party where there are fewer than 50 people! We also consider several close friends part of our family. Where is our family based?Matt's immediate and extended family lives close by, so we see them often for birthdays and get-togethers. Ciara's family lives overseas, so we travel to see them once or twice a year, and they come visit us just as often — everyone always makes it work. Ireland, you’d be surprised, is really not a far plane ride away! It is about six to seven hours. What do we enjoy doing with our families?Answer: Big family gatherings, holiday traditions split between both sides of the family, sporting events, theme park trips, summers at the Jersey Shore, and sometimes the Caribbean. We can't wait to bring a child into all of it. We have two toddler nephews and a brand-new newborn niece. Is adoption a part of our extended family? Yes, we have extended family who adopted, and it's something our family speaks about with a lot of love and openness. It's part of why adoption has always felt like such a natural path for us.
