Our Why

We feel called to adoption with open hearts and a deep sense of purpose.

We’ve dreamed of becoming parents since before we were married. Starting a family has always been one of our deepest hopes, and we’ve spent the last ten years praying and waiting for the chance to welcome children into our lives.

Our experience with infertility has shaped us in lasting ways. It’s deepened our faith, strengthened our relationship, and taught us patience, compassion, and resilience. We know those qualities will help us be loving, steady, and present parents.

We feel called to adoption with open hearts and a deep sense of purpose. More than anything, we want to provide a child with a safe, joyful, and loving home—a place where they are truly known, supported, and cherished every single day.

Our Story

We’re grateful for the love and friendship that brought us together, and we’re honored and excited to grow our family through adoption.

We met in college through mutual friends. After college, we dated long-distance while Alex finished school. That time apart taught us how to communicate well and reminded us how meaningful the simple, everyday moments are, like cooking dinner together or walking the dogs after work. We eventually settled in the same city, built a life we loved, and got married in 2016.

Since then, we’ve grown through life’s joys and challenges—supporting each other through career changes, moves, and ten years of trying to grow our family. After many years of unsuccessful fertility treatments, we came to adoption with full hearts and deep hope.

We’ve always known we wanted to be parents. While our path has been different from what we initially imagined, it has shaped us into a strong, loving team. We’re grateful for the love and friendship that brought us together, and we’re honored and excited to grow our family through adoption.
