DEAR EXPECTANT PARENT,
DEAR EXPECTANT PARENT,
Thank you so much for taking the time to learn about our family and for considering us as you make the difficult decision of who will parent your child. We hope that through this profile you will be able to see the love we have for each other, our friends and family, and our future child.
We know that God has called us to adopt a baby, and we cannot wait to meet the child he has for us!
We can only imagine the difficulties you have been facing during this time, longing to make the right decision for you and this child. We want you to know that we respect and admire you and pray for you daily.

OUR STORY
OUR STORY
We met in college, where we both studied music and had the same voice teacher. Fast-forward a few years, and we started dating while we were both in the musical Hairspray! After dating long distance for two years, we got married! We’ve been married for 10 years and have been longing to build our family ever since.
in January of 2020, we lost our first child, Blueberry, through a miscarriage. This process of grief through loss has been one that we never anticipated would challenge us so greatly. It has also reminded us of the constant need for help from the Holy Spirit to move forward one step at a time. We remember God is the Author of life (Psalm 139:13) and trust that He will provide again through adoption and potentially biologically.
Adoption has been something that we have felt a joint calling to since being married 10 years ago. Our path to arriving there has been unexpected, and we have not come to the decision because of our struggle to have our own biological child. We both believe God has called us to parent a child through adopting a newborn. Our journey began with a trip to Fort Worth, Texas, to Gladney Adoption Services last fall. While there for a seminar, we learned so much about what adoption through their organization looked like…. But was it for us? In a Buccee’s parking lot on the way back to Oklahoma, we both came to a joint conclusion that God was calling us to adopt a baby and Gladney was how. It has taken time to be open to this path of parenthood, and a lot of trust in God.
OUR HOME
OUR HOME
We moved into our house at the end of 2020… We know, not an ideal time to move! When Sean got the job at our current church, we decided to move across town to be closer to our church and it’s community. We could not have made a better decision! Our neighbors are absolutely wonderful and have become some of our dear friends. We love to open our home to visitors from out of town, and friends/family nearby. Our house is cozy and a great place to have coffee with friends or host our families for holidays!
Our Promise
Our Promise
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and about who we are! Again, we can only imagine the decisions you’re facing and we’re thankful you’re considering taking this adoption journey with us. We promise that this child will always know love, joy, truth and security. We want this child to remember who they are and where they came from. You will always be an important part of who this child is and we promise to raise this child with an understanding and appreciation of the sacrifices you are making for them.
