Dear Expectant Parent
Dear Expectant Parent
Thank you so much for considering adoption and for taking the time to look at our profile. We are so honored you would consider us as potential parents for your baby. We understand the immense weight of this decision, and we are praying for you and your baby on this journey. Your bravery and selflessness are so evident. Whatever path you choose, we respect and support you and are praying for peace and direction for you. We are so excited to start a family and so grateful for the opportunity to share our story with you.
Our Story
Our Story
We met on a dating app. We first started talking in January of 2021, but after a week of texting, Adam found out his brother Steve had major health issues, and Adam rushed back to Michigan to help him and his family. Since we hadn’t met, we didn’t continue communicating, but always remembered each other. When Adam came back to Dallas in May of 2021, he got back online and saw Katie’s profile again. We immediately reconnected and met for coffee. We both knew pretty quickly that each other was the one. We both have experienced a lot of heartache and grief. Katie lost her dad in 2018, and Adam lost his brother in 2021. It has been such a relief and comfort to find each other. We got engaged a year later and got married in December of 2022, and have been laughing and having fun ever since. We are so thankful the Lord crossed our paths, and we are so thankful to finally have each other.
Our Why
Our Why
Even before we were dating or married, adoption has always been on both our minds and hearts. Two of Adam’s best friends growing up, and Katie’s cousins, were adopted. We also have several friends who have adopted their kids. Adoption has always been our plan, but we also have not been able to have our own kids, and are so grateful to the Lord that being parents can still be a part of our story.

Adam has an amazing sense of humor. He makes all of our friends laugh so hard when they are around him. He is so fun and caring, and he will make such a great dad.
He deeply cares about the people in his life. Adam has maintained wonderful friendships from every era of his life and is amazing at keeping in touch with them. He has a servant heart in everything he does. Whether it’s offering to mow a neighbor’s lawn or helping a friend move, Adam is always the first to offer to help.
Adam is an intense researcher. When he dives into a topic, he goes all in, whether it’s finding the best grill or the perfect lawn mower. Recently, he’s been exploring the art of smoking different kinds of meat.
Adam found his calling in the hospitality and hotel industry. He has worked in and managed hotels in Chicago, Detroit, the W in Dallas, and a stunning beachfront hotel in Maui, Hawaii. Now, he works in hotel revenue management, consulting for various hotels. He is amazing with computers, math, and spreadsheets.

Katie is a deeply caring person who pours her heart into everything she does. She is incredibly excited to start a family and is dedicated to making sure everyone around her feels loved.
Katie’s hobbies include working out, creating vibrant clay earrings, and learning Spanish. She has studied Spanish in Peru and Guatemala, and while she is currently conversational, she hopes to become fluent one day. Katie helps with a local ESL class for Latina moms, which she enjoys so much. She also loves mentoring and working with students. She and one of her mentees have stayed friends over the last 10 years and still hang out often.
As a child, Katie loved playing with Legos, which sparked her passion for buildings, construction, and math. She pursued Civil Engineering in college and began her career in construction management, working on projects like hotels, courthouses, and detention facilities in Denver and California. Now, she is an estimator in commercial construction.

Our Pancake
We have a wonderful dog named Pancake. She is 2 years old and is the best dog we could ask for. She loves babies and kids. Our neighbors and nephews love her so much. She is quite lazy and loves to lounge. When she sleeps, she looks like an Olympic diver. She loves our daily walks. She loves both of us but is pretty obsessed with Adam.
