Early in our journey, we felt a calling from God that adoption would be part of our story. As we began dating, we shared our dreams of a large family, with adoption nestled within those aspirations. Though uncertain of the exact path ahead, fast forward 14 years, and after enduring the heartache of multiple miscarriages, we confronted our grief and it became clear that adoption was the path meant for us to expand our family. Our faith has been our guiding light, reassuring us that this decision is part of God’s plan for us.

Our daughter Isla’s deep desire for a sibling has also strengthened our resolve to expand our family through adoption. Witnessing her longing for companionship has deepened our commitment to this journey. Drawing from our own experiences, we know the impact siblings can have in our lives, providing unwavering support and lifelong bonds. We look forward to giving Isla and her future sibling the chance to experience the joys of siblinghood together.

With hearts wide open and a profound sense of purpose, we eagerly embrace adoption becoming a cherished chapter in our family’s narrative.

Both of us have careers in the finance industry and our paths crossed at work. Stephen made his introduction by offering Staci some of his beloved fig newton cookies one day in the office, sparking a connection that has blossomed into 14 years of marriage.

Our family currently includes our elementary-aged daughter, Isla, who brings immense joy to our lives. Our weekends often find us tending to our homestead or hosting cookouts with our extended family. We have a passion for exploration and enjoy immersing ourselves in different cultures through travel. Ultimately, regardless of our location, our greatest joy comes from simply being together, sharing laughter, and creating cherished memories.
